The former Stanford student and swimmer, Brock Turner, who was convicted on three counts of felony sexual assault last week, has officially been banned by USA Swimming.
In case you you don’t know exactly what USA Swimming is, they oversee the United States Olympic trials, from which the best swimmers are selected to join the Olympic team.
Turner wasn’t a member when he committed the crimes, according to USA Today. But he was actually a member through 2014. If he ever reapplies, he will be denied.
“USA Swimming strictly prohibits and has zero tolerance for sexual misconduct,” spokesman Scott Leightman said.
Boom goes the dynamite.
