Earlier this week, Marvel Studios teased (via Comicbook.com) that the first trailer for Ant-Man and the Wasp will arrive next day. Apparently, the “teaser” was an appropriately tiny label at the bottom of a promo board at the Black Panther premiere.
The last time we saw Ant-Man, he was on the receiving end of a beatdown in Captain America: Civil War.
The trailer gives us a peek at what’s next for Scott Lang/Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) and Hope Van Dyne/Wasp (Evangeline Lilly).
The existence of the trailer (and the movie itself) implies that the duo will survive the events of Avengers: Infinity War. Why? Because the chronology of Marvel films are in their order of release.
Avengers: Infinity War will arrive on cinemas on May 4, while Ant-Man and the Wasp releases on July 6.
