This news gives us a bit more idea what to expect, should HMD-owned Nokia officially introduce the device. Here’s what we know about the Nokia 9 so far:
The Nokia 9 reportedly uses a 5.5-inch OLED display manufactured by LG, while the Nokia 8 uses an IPS LCD display. This confirms a NokiaPowerUser report about the device, which says its display will be a QHD screen.
“QHD” displays, which are currently a standard among flagship smartphones, usually have resolutions of 1440 x 2560.
“OLED”, meanwhile, is a type of display that provides more vibrant colors than a regular LCD screen.
One of the leaks is a 3D render by CompareRaja, which shows an edge-to-edge display with dual rear cameras, a curved screen, and a black-colored back with blue-colored sides. Have a gander below.
