Tesla introduced the Model 3 electric car last March but will unveil its production version next month. The Tesla Model 3 is the American automaker’s first mass-market car and people are really hyped up for it.
According to Tesla, they have taken over 325,000 reservations for the Model 3 within a week after it was introduced, all of which may represent potential sales of more than $14 billion.
Like the rest of the world, we at Boss Royal are stoked for the Tesla Model 3. Here are several reasons why:
Tesla Model 3 price and range
- The Tesla Model 3 has a starting price of $35,000 before U.S. tax incentives. But for customers who want the full experience, the final price will most likely go over $40,000.
- Tesla says the Model 3 will be able to drive at least 215 miles on just a single charge. To give this some perspective, the latest models of the Hyundai Ioniq Electric and Nissan Leaf electric cars cost around $30,000 but can only be driven 124 miles and 107 miles and 124 miles on a single charge, respectively.
- The Tesla Model 3 is more comparable with the Chevy Bolt, which can drive 238 miles on a single charge and has a starting price of $37,495.
- The Model 3 can accelerate to 60 mph in less than 6 seconds. The Chevy Bolt, on the other hand, can go 0-60 mph in about 7 seconds.
