Forza Motorsport 7 will be hitting physical and virtual shelves on October 3. If you like cars and racing sims, then you should seriously consider having this game in your library. Here are a few reasons why we’re stoked:
4K 60fps at Xbox One
It’s hard to ignore how terrific Forza Motorsport 7 looks. The game runs at a face-melting 4K (native) resolution while maintaining a rock-solid 60 frames per second on the Xbox One X.
As for the regular Xbox One, the game runs at 1080p while maintaining a rock-solid 60fps as well. We think it’s still impressive considering the Xbox One usually runs games at 900p (or lower) – and a lot of them are only 30fps.
Dynamic race weather
The racing experience changes, depending on the weather. Factors like fog and heavy rain affect road visibility. Water puddles affect your wheel traction, sending your vehicle careening off the road.
At the very least, these little pools may affect your turns and add seconds to your overall time. The dynamic weather, as a whole, makes it harder to anticipate what might be around the next bend.
