And you know what? The difference is noticeable. According to YouTube personality The Phawx, the new model performs better on benchmark and has an important feature that its predecessor didn’t have: properly working Bluetooth.
The Phawx also observed that some applications that wouldn’t run on the previous model now work on the updated version. This includes the Dolphin emulator, which runs Nintendo GameCube and Wii games. Dolphin requires a 64-bit processor to function, and guess what? The emulator now runs smoothly on the updated handheld.

Linus likes the feel of the buttons and notes the improved performance, but has struggled in navigating the interface.
The GPD XD+ will ship in early 2018.
