Thirst-Day – Making a Cup of Irish Coffee

Ingredients

  • 1 and 1/2 oz. (45ml) of Irish whiskey
  • 4 oz. (90ml) of hot coffee
  • 1 oz. (30ml) of heavy cream
  • 1/2 to 1 oz. of brown sugar
  • Toddy mug/coffee glass/wine glass

Steps

  1. Whip the heavy cream until it’s thick, but not stiff.
  2. Pre-warm the toddy mug/Irish coffee glass/wine glass by filling it up with hot water.
  3. Dispose of the hot water, then pour in the hot coffee and add the brown sugar.
  4. Stir to combine, and gently spoon between 1/2-inch and an inch of cream on top of the coffee mixture.
  5. Enjoy!
