- 1 and 1/2 oz. (45ml) of Irish whiskey
- 4 oz. (90ml) of hot coffee
- 1 oz. (30ml) of heavy cream
- 1/2 to 1 oz. of brown sugar
- Toddy mug/coffee glass/wine glass
- Whip the heavy cream until it’s thick, but not stiff.
- Pre-warm the toddy mug/Irish coffee glass/wine glass by filling it up with hot water.
- Dispose of the hot water, then pour in the hot coffee and add the brown sugar.
- Stir to combine, and gently spoon between 1/2-inch and an inch of cream on top of the coffee mixture.
