Ever wondered what’s inside the Apple HomePod? For the uninitiated, the HomePod is a $349 smart speaker, which you can control using your voice. What’s Inside? recently had a peek at the contents of Apple’s cylindrical gadget.

About What’s Inside?

If you haven’t heard, What’s Inside? is a YouTube channel created by Daniel Markham to help his son Lincoln learn. In fact, it was Lincoln’s 2nd grade science project which served as the channel’s inspiration. Apparently, Lincoln wanted to know what was inside different sports balls.

The channel exploded to over 1.5 million subscribers in December 2015. Not bad for a venture that started out as an educational project.

Among the fascinating stuff Daniel and Lincoln have cut open include:
